2024 CBA CONCERT BAND FESTIVAL SCHEDULE and INFORMATION
Monday October 2nd, 2023, Registration for ALL CBA Concert Band Festivals opens. Know that many sites will fill within a few days (some within hours).
Friday March 1, Special non-state-qualifying Regional Festival at Adams City HS
Monday March 4, Western Slope Regional, Palisade HS
Tuesday March 5, Denver Metro Regional at Grandview HS
Wednesday March 6, Northern Regionals at Fossil Ridge and Ft. Collins High Schools
Thursday March 7, Southern Regional at Cheyenne Mountain HS
Friday March 8, Denver West Regional at D'Evelyn HS and Denver South Regional at Castle View HS.
Monday and Tuesday April 15 and 16, State Concert Band Festival at CSU-Ft. Collins

YOU WILL NEED 4 ORIGINAL SCORES (not photocopies) OF EACH PIECE BEING PERFORMED - one for each of the 3 judges and one for the clinician.

CBA offers incredible Concert Band festivals! HS Regional Festivals are hosted at area high schools with outstanding performance venues, use the best local and national judges and clinicians, feature a 25 minute clinic with an outstanding clinician immediately following your performance (in a separate room), and incorporate listening blocks. Every band has an audience and participating students learn and grow from hearing other bands and supporting their musician peers. Bands receive recorded commentary from 3 adjudicators as well as a high-quality audio recording of the performance. The most outstanding 36 bands from Regionals are invited to the State Concert Band Festival - see State Information below (including new opportunities for Small School Bands!). The online registration window opens September 30th and closes November 15th. Registration fee is $375. Registration link and additional information will be posted on the Concert Band page of the CBA website (www.coloradobandmasters.org) on September 30th. Directors must be CBA members to participate.
