The CBA Convention

Since its inception in 1965, the Colorado Bandmasters Association has hosted an annual convention, bringing together music educators, performers, and industry leaders from across the state. This event offers professional development, networking opportunities, and workshops designed to support excellence in band education. Directors and attendees participate in clinics, learn from renowned speakers, and celebrate Colorado’s vibrant band community.

2026 Convention Info

We are excited to host the 2026 CBA Convention at Lakewood High School on July 16-17, 2026.
Registration is open to CBA Members only & available after you have paid your 2026-2027 dues on the Members-Only Page.

1) Create new account (top right corner) or log into existing account

2) Renew your membership

If you are a lifetime member, your account will need to be verified before you can register for the convention. Email Ed Cannava for help.

3) Go to the 26 27 Membership page (access by clicking the account icon in the top corner of the site)

4) Add your convention registration & check out
